  • Description

Today we'll explore Banff National Park in depth! We'll pass by the Victoria Glacier and head to Lake Louise, known as the "Sapphire of the Rockies," to experience its tranquility and beauty. During the summer when Moraine Lake is open, we'll visit the glacial lake at an altitude of 1885 meters, witnessing this Tiffany blue hidden among the mountains. Afterwards, we'll visit Yoho National Park, taking photos of the "natural bridge" sculpted by erosion. Our final stop is Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park. As its name suggests, Emerald Lake displays varying shades of green under different lighting, its beauty undeniable.

Summer itinerary during Moraine Lake's opening:
Calgary → Banff National Park → Castle Mountain (passing by) → Lake Louise (60 mins) → Moraine Lake (60 mins) → Lake Louise Village (45 mins, including optional lunch time) → Yoho National Park → Spiral Tunnel (passing by) → Emerald Lake (20 mins) → Natural Bridge (15 mins) → Banff

Summer itinerary during Moraine Lake's closing:
Calgary → Banff National Park → Castle Mountain (passing by) → Lake Louise (60 mins) → Lake Louise Village (45 mins, including optional lunch time) → Yoho National Park → Spiral Tunnel (passing by) → Emerald Lake (20 mins) → Natural Bridge (15 mins) → Kootenay National Park → Marble Canyon (60 mins) → Banff

    Note:
    1. Moraine Lake is expected to be open from 06/01/2026-10/13/2026. Please refer to the official announcement of Banff National Park for the actual opening hours. The itinerary on the day of the tour will be arranged by the tour guide.

On the day of the tour, you may add the Banff Night Tour (Price: USD$70.00 / CAD$85.00 per person). Catch the iconic “Golden Mountain” glow and picture-perfect lake reflections at sunset with gorgeous layered light and shadow, and keep an eye out for wild elk, bighorn sheep and even bears along the way for unforgettable natural surprises.

    Banff National Park
Banff National Park is famously known for its colored lakes, majestic mountains, and endless outdoor adventures that it has to offer! It is also Canada’s very first national park and the world’s third! It has a rich heritage and is one of the world’s most awe-inspiring mountain destinations to discover! Make sure to even take a special look at its easy access and close proximity that it has to the vast unspoiled wilderness of the Canadian Rockies. The park itself spans 6,641 square kilometers (2,564 square miles) of pure mountainous terrain. It is greatly packed with spectacular scenic valleys, peaks, glaciers, forests, meadows, and rivers. Take a look at what makes Banff National Park so unique!

    Lake Louise
Lake Louise, located on the south side of Highway 1, is a famous attraction in Banff National Park. With Mount Victoria as its barrier and surrounded by dense forests, the mountains and waters are interdependent, forming a perfect landscape photo. Lake Louise is like a pearl, otherworldly and otherworldly, so it is known as the "Sapphire in the Rocky Mountains" and has become a lake favored by photographers.

    Moraine Lake
Moraine Lake is a glacial lake in Banff National Park in Canada. It is located in the famous Valley of the Ten Peaks. The bottom of the lake is filled with mineral-rich gravel. Over the years, the sedimentation has formed ever-changing blue water. It is recognized as the most photographed lake in the world. The lake surface is sapphire blue and crystal clear, like a shining pearl.

    Yoho National Park
Yoho National Park lies on the western slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Vertical rock walls, waterfalls and high peaks draw visitors from all around the world to this unique national park! Yoho offers exceptional hiking and sightseeing for everyone to enjoy! The park even offers a unique glimpse of Canada’s natural wonders and an insight of this alpine majesty!

    Emerald Lake
The beautiful Emerald Lake is the largest lake in Yoho National Park, covering an area of slightly more than one square kilometer. The lake water presents different shades of green under different light conditions, and is known as the "Emerald of the Rocky Mountains." Walking along the lakeside path, you can enjoy the reflections of the snow-capped mountains in the distance and the vigorous pines and cypresses nearby in the rippling blue water.

    Natural Bridge
This natural bridge was formed after millions of years of erosion by the Kikinhaus River (also known as the Leaping Horse River). Initially, the river water washed out cracks in the solid rocks, causing the rushing river water to continuously break through the cracks in the rocks, and then gradually hollowed out the huge rocks from the bottom upwards, eventually making a huge rock blocking the river channel washed away into a "natural bridge" shaped like a bridge.

    Marble Canyon
Marble Canyon is a popular hike in Kootenay National Park near Lake Louise, Alberta. The hike is an easy 1 mile (1.6 km) out and back trail suitable for all skill levels with fencing along most areas. The trail follows Tokumm Creek which created Marble Canyon by cutting and carving it’s way through the rock. Turquoise, glacial waters, and startling canyon walls grow ever more impressive along this short trail. Multiple bridges span the narrow gorge, crossing several times for spine-tingling views of the river below! Watch for fuchsia fireweed and mountain bluebirds in a landscape shaped by fire, erosion, and mountain building.

Due to the limited hotel resources in the Banff area, it is not possible to specify the room type. The hotel will randomly arrange a king-size bed room or a twin bed room based on the room availability on that day. Thank you for your understanding!

    Peyto Lake
Every summer, a large amount of glacial rock powder flows into the lake, and the particles of these rocks make the lake appear bright turquoise. Therefore, Peyto Lake has become a popular tourist attraction in the park.

    Jasper National Park
Jasper National Park spans 4,200 square miles (10,878 square km) and contains significant active geologic processes, scenic mountains, along with diverse animal and plant populations. When Jasper was first protected as a forest park in 1907, it covered an area of approximately 5,000 square miles (12,950 square km). In 1930 it was declared a national park with its present size. It was designated part of UNESCO’s Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage site in 1984.

    Columbia Icefield
The Columbia Glacier was formed in ancient times. It is located on the plateau and close to the North Pole. It is one of the 17 glaciers in the Rocky Mountains. It is a famous ancient ice sheet relic in the world and a great watershed between the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean and the Arctic Ocean. The Columbia Glacier provides clean water and fresh air for the entire North America, and affects the ecological environment of animals and plants.

    Athabasca Falls
Located in Jasper National Park, Athabasca Falls is a waterfall formed in the upper reaches of the Athabasca River. It is known as the most breathtaking waterfall in the Rocky Mountains. Athabasca Falls is famous not only for its height of 23 meters and the rushing water, but also because the waterfall water carries sand and stones and impacts the two banks with great force to form a pothole.
