Description
Let’s travel to the Redwood Forest Steam Train and ride through the Redwood Trees Forest. Following, we will visit the Santa Cruz Harbor. Finally, we will travel to the Capitola Beach and head back to San Francisco.

Roaring Camp
Roaring Hill is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Felton, California, 128 kilometers south of San Francisco. Opened in 1958, Roaring Hill recreates a western logging town from the 1880s, surrounded by 60 hectares of redwood forest. The vintage train runs through the redwood forest every day of the year except Christmas Day. The steam locomotive running on the Roaring Hill Vintage Railway's Redwood Forest Steam Train Tour is a real train from the 1880s, and the train that runs to Santa Cruz Beach is from the 1920s.
Redwood Forest Steam Train
Travel over trestles, through towering redwood groves and up a winding narrow-gauge grade to the summit of Bear Mountain as conductors narrate the history of Roaring Camp, the railroad and the forest. In the 1880s, narrow-gauge steam locomotives were used to haul giant redwood logs out of the mountains. Roaring Camp’s steam engines date from 1890 and are among the oldest and most authentically preserved narrow-gauge steam engines providing regularly scheduled passenger service in America.
Santa Cruz Harbor
The Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor is situated in Santa Cruz, California, on the site of the former Woods Lagoon. Built in 1962–1963, its public use specializes in boating and extracurricular marine activities for the local community and visitors.

- If attractions are temporarily closed or closed during holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) resulting in inability to visit, guides may adjust the itinerary to substitute attractions to ensure the richness of the trip.
- Children under 8 years old participating in the group must use a safety seat; rental is available at $10/person/day. Please inform in advance for preparation. Failure to notify will result in violations and fines borne by the traveler.
- Tour groups must meet basic health requirements. Disabled or mobility-impaired guests should contact in advance to obtain relevant policy information. Without timely notice, no guarantee of appropriate seat arrangements.
- Due to rising fuel costs, vehicle operating costs have greatly increased. From May 18, 2026 (departure date), a $5/person/day transportation surcharge will be added and collected uniformly by the guide during the trip.
