Highlights
- The Lower Antelope Canyon has become one of the favorite attractions for tourists and photographers around the world. The Navajo name, Hasdeztwazi, means spiral rocks with an arch shape. And many years ago, pronghorn antelopes wandering around this place in groups freely, thus we call it "Antelope Canyon".
- Antelope canyon is famous for its wave-like structure and the light beams that shine directly down into the openings of the canyon, creating a super natural appearance. Many travellers and photographers have been attracted here, regard it as a place where dreams come true.
- Different from the flat ground of Upper Antelope Canyon, Lower Antelope Canyon requires visitors to climb upside and down through staircases and ladders. It feels like you are entering a new planet, starting a magical adventure. There are steel ladders anchored into the canyon walls. The ladders vary from 3 ft. to 25 ft. being the longest. Ladders over 8 ft. have handrails in place. The canyon is easily accessible going in and out. There are escape rope ladders placed on top of the canyon, in metal boxes, for any type of emergency.

Our tour through Antelope Canyon was unforgettable, and Delilah made the experience even better. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable throughout the tour. Her stories and insights about the canyon’s history and formations brought the whole experience to life. Delilah also knew all the best photo spots and helped us capture amazing pictures.
