    Pigeon Point Light Station
    Perched on a cliff on the central California coast, 50 miles south of San Francisco, the 115-foot Pigeon Point Lighthouse, one of the tallest lighthouses in America, has been guiding mariners since 1872.

    Cannery Row
    Cannery Row is a seaside street in Monterey, California, United States, home to many now-defunct sardine canning factories. The last cannery closed in 1973. The street's name, formerly a nickname for Ocean View Avenue, became official in 1958 in honor of John Steinbeck and his famous novel, Cannery Row. In the novel's opening lines, Steinbeck describes the street as "a poem, a stink, a cacophony of noise, a quality of light, a tone, a habit, a nostalgia, a dream." Cannery Row has become a popular tourist destination. Not only has the stink disappeared, but the street is now lined with restaurants and shops, and offers a beautiful view of the ocean.

    Monterey Bay Aquarium
    The Monterey Bay Aquarium, located on California's Monterey Peninsula, is a world-renowned aquarium, attracting nearly two million visitors annually. Due to its location adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, part of the Pacific Ocean forms part of the aquarium's waters. The aquarium houses over 6,500 species and 300,000 marine animals. In addition to the marine life, the aquarium also features videos on environmental technology, a man-made beach, and resident seabirds.

    17-Mile Drive
    The west and south sides of 17-Mile Drive border the Pacific Ocean, while the east side winds through the Del Monte fir forest. Along the way, you'll see not only beaches but also spectacular luxury villas and golf courses.
