Established in 1951 by Corning Glass Works (now Corning Incorporated) as a gift to the nation for the company’s 100th anniversary, Annually welcoming just under half a million visitors from around the world, the Museum's campus is home to the world’s most comprehensive collection of glass, the world’s foremost library on glass, and one of the top glassworking schools in the world.
Glass is a versatile, ancient material that is still being explored and understood by artists, scientists and historians today. The story of glass is a story about art, history, culture, technology, science, craft and design.

- The Corning Museum of Glass is a smoke-free facility. Visitors may smoke outside if they wish.
- Strollers are not available from the Museum, but we do encourage and allow their use in the Museum.
- The Museum is wheelchair accessible, and wheelchairs are available at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ask a Guest Services Team Member or a security guard for assistance. We regret that wheelchairs may not be reserved in advance.
- Park for free in the Museum’s convenient, fully-accessible lot.

- We open the 2020 departure dates in advance. You can book the tour in 2020 now. But we need to reconfirm your price.
