It only takes 8 minutes to reach the top of Sulphur Mountain, 2,281 meters high, by taking the Banff Gondola. There is a restaurant and interactive experience hall on the top of the mountain. From new restaurants and interactive exhibits to multi-sensory theaters and amazing 360-degree observation decks, the new Banff Gondola experience allows you to gain a richer sensory experience.

Hoodoos
Hoodoos is named after its shape that resembles a demon or ghost, and it took hundreds of years to form. The scenery here is beautiful, with mountains, lakes, rivers, and forests converging to create a mountain and river scenery that combines masculinity and spirituality.

Bow Falls

Johnston Canyon
Johnston Canyon is located on the Bow Valley Parkway that connects Banff Town and Lake Louise. It was formed by thousands of years of river erosion, so there are many streams and waterfalls in the canyon. The canyon has deep and dangerous terrain, with fast-flowing water in summer and covered with ice and snow in winter. The canyon is covered with lush vegetation, lush and fresh in summer, and covered with crystal tree hangings in winter, each with its own characteristics.

Due to the limited hotel resources in the Banff area, it is not possible to specify the room type. The hotel will randomly arrange a king-size bed room or a twin bed room based on the room availability on that day. Thank you for your understanding!

The Crossing Resort Canada

Our first stop today is Lake Louise, where we'll admire the breathtaking scenery of its turquoise waters reflecting the snow-capped mountains. Afterwards, we'll travel to Moraine Lake, a jewel-like alpine lake nestled among the mountains. We'll then arrive at Lake Louise village, where you can enjoy lunch at your own expense. In the afternoon, we'll head to Bow Lake, taking in the crystal-clear waters formed by glacial meltwater. Afterwards, we'll visit the Colombia Glacier Skywalk. You can step onto the glass platform and experience the thrill of being suspended in mid-air while enjoying panoramic views of the vast glacier landscape. Following the walk, we'll check into a cabin hotel on the Icefields Parkway, where you can enjoy a DIY barbecue dinner.

Multiple bridges span the narrow gorge, crossing several times for spine-tingling views of the river below! Watch for fuchsia fireweed and mountain bluebirds in a landscape shaped by fire, erosion, and mountain building.

Bow Lake
Bow Lake is located approximately 30 minutes north of Lake Louise and off the Icefields Parkway (Hwy 93) in the Canadian Rockies. It is half a mile north of the Crowfoot Glacier. It sits at an elevation of 1,920 m (6,300 ft) and is one of the largest lakes at the Banff National Park. It is fed by the meltwater from the Bow Glacier in the Wapta Icefield. Bow Lake is a wonderful place for a picnic and to enjoy scenic breathtaking views.

Columbia lcefield Skywalk
The Colombia Glacier Trail is a scenic attraction that allows visitors to experience the allure of glaciers up close and appreciate the magnificent natural scenery. It's a two-part suspended trail. The Exploration Trail is a boardwalk built along the cliff edge, offering breathtaking views of the glacier. The Exploration Viewpoint, located at the end of the Exploration Trail on a glass-bottomed platform at an altitude of approximately 280 meters, offers stunning panoramic views of the valley and snow-capped mountains, providing a thrilling and exhilarating experience.

Next, head to Medicine Lake, a mysterious lake whose volume changes seasonally, and experience its natural beauty. Medicine Lake
Medicine Lake, also known as Magic Lake, is a unique lake located in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is a lake in the Rocky Mountains that exhibits a periodic rise and fall, belonging to the Maligne River system. The lake drains through an underground limestone cave system, creating a unique hydrological phenomenon where it expands during the summer when glacial meltwater flows in and dries up completely during the winter due to reduced meltwater. Its underground rivers connect to Maligne Canyon, forming a complex underground water system. The local Indigenous people named it "Medicine Lake" because of the lake's seasonal disappearance. The Rocky Mountain National Park, to which the lake is located, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its unique geological features.

Maligne Lake
Maligne Lake is the second largest glacial lake in the world and the only lake in the Rocky Mountains where motor boats can sail. The scenery around the lake is magnificent, with dense pine forests, lovely grasslands and flowers all over the mountains. There are many hiking trails along the lake. The Fairy Island in Maligne Lake is the most beautiful scenery in the entire Jasper Park and often appears in various travel books and scenic postcards.

Today we will depart from Jasper, with our first stop at Pyramid Lake, where we can admire the tranquil scenery of the lake reflecting the surrounding pyramid-shaped mountains. Afterwards, we will head to Maligne Canyon to explore the natural wonders of the canyon's deep, winding landscape and interwoven streams. If Maligne Canyon is closed, we will instead visit Patricia Lake to enjoy its serene beauty. Next, we will travel to Athabasca Falls to experience the powerful force of glacial meltwater crashing against the rocks. Then, we will visit Peyto Lake to admire its crystal-clear, jewel-like blue surface. Finally, we will enter Yoho National Park, where the emerald lake's warm, turquoise waters create a breathtaking panorama with the surrounding snow-capped mountains and forests; the Natural Bridge is a unique geological formation created by streams eroding the rock walls over time. Finally, we will return to Calgary, concluding our day's itinerary.

Patricia Lake
Patricia Lake is a captivating glacial lake in Jasper National Park, Canada, renowned for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, surrounding coniferous forests, and the majestic Pyramid Mountain reflected in its waters. Located near the town of Jasper, the lake's crystal-clear waters allow visitors to see the rocks at the bottom, creating a stunning landscape of mountains and water. Historically, it served as a secret weapons testing site during World War II, and model remains can still be found on the lakebed.

Athabasca Falls
Located in Jasper National Park, Athabasca Falls is a waterfall formed in the upper reaches of the Athabasca River. It is known as the most breathtaking waterfall in the Rocky Mountains. Athabasca Falls is famous not only for its height of 23 meters and the rushing water, but also because the waterfall water carries sand and stones and impacts the two banks with great force to form a pothole.

Peyto Lake

The beautiful Emerald Lake is the largest lake in Yoho National Park, covering an area of slightly more than one square kilometer. The lake water presents different shades of green under different light conditions, and is known as the "Emerald of the Rocky Mountains." Walking along the lakeside path, you can enjoy the reflections of the snow-capped mountains in the distance and the vigorous pines and cypresses nearby in the rippling blue water.

Natural Bridge
This natural bridge was formed after millions of years of erosion by the Kikinhaus River (also known as the Leaping Horse River). Initially, the river water washed out cracks in the solid rocks, causing the rushing river water to continuously break through the cracks in the rocks, and then gradually hollowed out the huge rocks from the bottom upwards, eventually making a huge rock blocking the river channel washed away into a "natural bridge" shaped like a bridge.
