    At 7:00am, we will leave Boston and head to Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to visit the Shenandoah Caverns or Luray Caverns.
    Shenandoah National Park, VA
    Shenandoah National Park, located in Virginia near Washington, DC, is home to a fascinating system of caves, the Shenandoah Caverns. Visitors can also see Skyline Drive and Dark Hollow Falls.
    Shenandoah Caverns
    The Shenandoah Caverns sit in an eponymous valley and national park at the extreme north of the state of Virginia. Popular for their accessibility as well as their beautiful rock formations, they are not a sight to miss!
    The tour will either visit Shenandoah Caverns or Luray Caverns depending on traffic or weather.

    Luray Caverns
    Perhaps the most famous attraction in the Luray Caverns is The Great Stalacpipe Organ, a giant mechanized instrument that uses naturally formed stalagmites as its pipes. Rubber mallets tap the formations at certain intervals and points to produce tones.

    After breakfast, we will head to Tennessee to visit Great Smoky Mountains Park. We will then travel to Lookout Mountain to visit the Ruby Falls and ride the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway. We will watch Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede show at night.

    Chattanooga is the fourth-largest city in the U.S. state of Tennessee. A unique distinction for Chattanooga is the fact that the city has its own typeface, Chatype, which was launched in August 2012.
    Ruby Falls
    The Ruby Falls have been referenced by everyone from Johnny Cash to Eric Cartman. This amazing, natural underground waterfall in the Lookout Mountains was created by rainwater and erosion. The waters eventually meet up with the Tennessee River.

    This historic hilltop on the southern border of Tennessee has a colorful history as a place of importance during wartime. Most notably, it was the centerpiece of the Battle of Lookout Mountain during the American Civil War.

    This tram that takes visitors to southeastern Tennessee up the slops of Lookout Mountain has been in service for more than a century. In places, the incline it climbs has a grade of more than 70%.

    Second only to Dragon's Breath Cave Lake in Namibia in size, this underground lake has a surface of 4.5 acres, and it is unknown how far it stretches beneath. Divers attempted to explore its waters, but never found its end.
